I use art as a primary medium of communication to support exploring and expressing any concerns and issues that you may bring into the session. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity for their stories to be heard. May it be painting, drawing, using clay, making collages or even simple doodling, I offer you a safe space to reflect on your feelings when words are not enough.
You do not need to have any previous art skills or experiences. In the session, I will support you reflecting on your experiences through the process of artmaking. Whether you are a child, adolescent or an adult, I will encourage you to be free and imaginative while searching for meanings and developing self-awareness.
It is not easy to reach out when one is struggling and you do not need to face it alone. I invite you to reconnect with your inner-self and explore these difficult emotions with self-compassion. I will listen to your stories, help you to disentangle confusing thoughts and feelings.
My approach is client-centered and I strive to create an empowering space that can support your personal growth and healing. My therapeutic work is based on a psychodynamic approach informed by Jungian psychoanalytic psychology. Other theories such as attachment, object-relations and trauma will also be guiding my therapeutic understanding of the people whom I work with.
I believe our past experiences shape our personality, influence how we feel and think in everyday life. Hence, your story is unique and I hope to build a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship in order to support you in this journey.
Groups I work with included
Children, adolescents, and adults.
