How are you, really?
If counselling has taught me one thing, it’s that there is always more to others than meets the eye. Like a blank canvas, I maintain an open heart and mind so that my clients feel seen, heard and understood. Through an empathetic understanding, I strive to build a therapeutic alliance with my clients.
My purpose in counselling is to help you discover ways to increase your well-being. Even if you find it unfamiliar to talk about your thoughts and feelings, my safe space is open for you to explore the areas of your life that are meaningful to you. I am also ready to support you in taking the steps to improve those areas.
I am experienced in conducting one-on-one therapy as well as facilitating counselling and psychoeducation groups. As I am trained to work with clients of various backgrounds, I am ready to assist you in overcoming challenges such as LGBTQIA+ concerns, anxiety, depression, stress, time management, self-worth, relationships, career concerns, and more.
My approach to counselling remains flexible, with Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) being key tools in my sessions. No matter what you want to bring into our sessions, remember: counselling is open to everyone. You are always welcome here.
